We have identified several community grants available to Registered Community Organizations, including the Rhawnhurst Civic Association. Each grant serves a specific purpose, such as clean-ups, street beautification, parks, and community education. We are looking for volunteers to help develop ideas, coordinate supervisory efforts, and direct grant funds to accomplish our grant programs.
See below for volunteer opportunities and to learn more about some of the community grants available to us.

Community grants are specific purpose programs, whether from government or private sources, that provide funds to organizations like the Rhawnhurst Civic Association to accomplish improvements within our community. These grants require specific purposes, oversight, reportable results, and a clear identification of funds spent, while also highlighting available volunteer opportunities.
This Grant program, supported by the Rhawnhurst Civic Association, provides us with the opportunity to implement community grants that fund activities such as Red Cross CPR Training, a Community Appreciation Event, and a Holiday 'Shop With A Cop' for underprivileged children. These initiatives also create valuable volunteer opportunities for local residents.
This organization, including the Rhawnhurst Civic Association and 130 other groups, collaborates on community events, organizes clean-ups, and provides various volunteer opportunities. They also work to raise funds through community grants for improvements and advocate for Philadelphia's public park system.
This grant is specifically designed to fund projects that celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and it aligns with the community grants offered by the Rhawnhurst Civic Association, which also highlights various volunteer opportunities.
